Badminton is a sport for everyone!

Believe it or not, badminton is the second most popular sport in the world! There are no age limits or skill levels requirement to be part of our club.

All you need is the enthusiasm to learn how to play this great game and the enthusiasm to help others learn from you. Our players range in experience, some have only been playing for a few weeks while others, have played for years.

Our History

We are perhaps the newest club in America! Jacksonville has never had a badminton club that we are aware of. Some of us met on a national badminton web site and decided to get something going that would be consistent and fun for all levels.

The desire to play this great game is not enough. You have to have the space to play. We were welcomed to the Yates YMCA which has been our home ever since. We are growing in numbers and our goal is to help introduce this sport to individuals who have never played beyond the "backyard" experience. We hope you will be one of the newest members.
